Genetic Testing

Genetic testing is the process of using medical tests to look for changes in a person’s genes or chromosomes. Hundreds of different genetic tests are used today, and more are being developed. Predictive Gene Testing is commonly used to check for the risk of inheriting cancer; such as breast cancer.

This is used to help couples know what possibilities of their children getting a genetic mutation disorder that might be passed down.
